Cleadon Archers celebrates 70 years

Cleadon Archers celebrates 70 years

Originally conceived in August 1949 as a section of an Amateur Dramatic Club, who would have thought that 70 years on, the first archery club to be in DNAA would be still going strong. Cleadon has a history of producing top archers, not only county team members and national champions but also British and Olympic team members. We are also the only club in the country to have had two National presidents, Brian Trotter and Stan Patterson who eventually received the O.B.E for his services to archery.
Therefore come and join us in our celebratory tournament weekend which will include a few surprises.
